I read this and I thought of my baby...It's so sad. The same happened to my Paulie. We moved to a new home and he unknowingly wandered into the street. It's been a week and still my heart aches. It's hard to imagine the rest of our lives without them, not sleeping by our feet, not stirring at the sounds of the night, not barking at the window, not pulling on the leash, not greeting us at the door...I miss him terribly, and I'm so sorry for your loss...It breaks my heart. :,(
