Java was an amazing dog! He always wanted to be petted. I miss that...my two dogs aren't persistent with the petting. They are just happy with what they get. I have to laugh about Java's nudging. So cute!

I also have to laugh about one memory that I have back in Austin when we all lived in an apartment. I remember that Tim got jealous of Java!! My husband getting jealous of a dog? I must explain...I had this routine with Java that I wouldn't break--whenever I get home, I go crazy with him. This meant ignoring Tim for a good 10-15 minutes when I got home from work. Poor Tim. He actually had to wait for me to finish my routine with Java before I give him a kiss or a hug! Now, that doesn't happen-since I have my routine with the boys.

Java, you were one special dog! Thank you for letting me be part of your dog life!
